Special Instructions

1.
Use 1.5 quarts of water per 1 lb of grain. Include 4 oz malted barley per lb of specialty grain to insure starch conversion.
2.
Bring water to exacetely 160 deg F. Add the grains stirring. Turn off head and soak for 45 minutes.
3.
Pour through strainer into the boiling pot.
4.
Pour an equal amount of more 160 deg F water through the grains into your boiling pot.
