Perfect beer! Best beer I have made to date. Sweet malty body balanced by the nelson hops.
Notes:
Tasted gravity beer reading. It is amazing. Very sweet and full bodied with great mouth feel. This was the most balanced beer I have made to date. The mash was the best temp I've done as well. I over compensated with more grains as I have not been reaching my estimated final gravity which ended up making this an 8.53% Kolsch. This beer is also the clearest beer I have made as well.
Should be carb'd 1/23/17
The other 3 gallons I had split was fermented using Cal V yeast and I have dry hopped it today with 6 oz of Nelson. I am excited to see how different it is than the Kolsch half.
