I got this recipe from Dan Thomas since I haven't been able to make a Hef worth a damn lately. Gave my last batch to a friend who just built a still. Maybe he can make it into something worth drinking! At any rate, I just met Dan a couple months ago and he gave me a couple of his beers. A cream stout and a Firestone Union Jack IPA clone. Both were outstanding! The IPA was better than Firestone! Sorry Firestone, yours is good.....Dan's was better. I am rambling. Dan was good enough to give me a hef recipe that seems to work for him. He doesn't do the blueberry. I added that for Janet.

I brewed this beer 19 Jan 2013. Transferred to secondary 23 Jan. Bottled on 2 Feb. This is the first time I have bottled since I started on all grain....couldn't remember how much DME to use. Ended up boiling one quart of fermented wort and 6 oz of Briess light DME. After I added everything to my bucket I mixed in the blueberry extract. Got just short of 51 12 oz bottles. It is conditioning in my fermentation freezer at 67 deg along with my next batch (OldGoat Darkness - a Cascadian Dark Ale clone with alterations - see latest session)

OG 1.042 FG 1.008 ABV about 4.4% - Good for Janet!
