Notes:

approximate actual gravities 1.073 - 1.013, 7.9abv Used Gigayeast scotch ale and fermented a on the higher side of things (70-72). Started phenolic with high esters but subsided significantly with time and the addition of biofine. Beer is good, sweet and a little boozy which compliment eachother, medium maltiness and noticeable caramelization. dark in color with white head and poor head retention. Wouldn't change much next time; maybe shoot for better head retention and possibly ferment just a tad cooler. with time an oak addition would be a nice addition.

Little light up front. Possibly play with hop additions, less biofine, touch more roasted barley and a touch of smoked.malt as mentioned above
