First time attempting all grain brewing. Day was cold and windy, only 56 degree F. Intent was to use 6.5 gal water and bring mash to 140 degree F. Actual mash temp ended up at 156 degree F. So could not step up temp. Did not track additional water added to sparge. Did not get high enough efficiency out of grain to meet recipe requirements. Need to work on process and care should have been a 5 gallon batch not the 6 that was achieved. 5/5 AM No airlock activity at 15 hours.5/5 PM 35 Bubbles / ...
