Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Bring 2.5 gallons of water to a temperature of 170° F

Put grains in bag and put in brew pot
3.
Stir Water: Tempature Should Drop to 150-160F

Steep 30 Minutes

Allow Grain to Drain from Bag

Bring Wort to Boil
7.
Turn off Burner add LME
8.
Add Brown Sugar
9.
Add DME
10.
Return to Boil
11.
Add 1oz Challanger Hops (Bittering Hops)

After 45 Minutes of Boil Add .5oz Mt Hood Flavor
13.
Flame Out- Add .5 Oz Mt Hood Aroma
14.
Let Stand At Least 15 Minutes
15.
Cool to Bellow 95F
16.
Top of Fermenter to 5 Gallons with VERY COLD water
17.
Tempature must be bellow 80DEG before pitching yeast.
18.
Oxiginate Wort
19.
Record OG with Hydrometer
20.
Pitch Yeast Ferment between 68-72 Degrees for3-4 Weeks
