Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Steep fermentable grains for 30 minutes at 155 degrees.
2.
Remove grains from heat and squeeze grains until liquid is removed.
3.
Bring Wort to a boil, remove from heat, and add extracts being careful not to scorch the extracts.
4.
Return to heat and bring to boil for 60 minutes following hopping schedule.
5.
Upon flame out, add 1 lb lactose - milk sugar stirring vigorously then chill wort as quickly as possible to 70 degrees.
6.
Once wort is cooled transfer it to the fermintation vessel, pitch yeast, and oxygenate.
7.
Seal wort with airlock and allow for complete fermintation to take place up to 18 days.
8.
Add 5oz of priming sugar, transfer wort to bottling bucket and bottle.
9.
Age bottles for minimum of two weeks and as many as six weeks.
10.
During this time rotate/spin/slightly shake bottles to loosen any yeast that may collect on the sides of the bottle.
11.
When aging has met your satisfaction, Chill bottles or draw off of the tap and enjoy.
